Sunny Garden

We are in the most thermophilic part of the garden, receiving sunlight from morning until sunset. It is also the richest area in flowering, located near the Piuca building, which appears even more striking thanks to the terrace on which it stands.
This part of the garden is characterized by a collection of climbing plants that envelop the house, along with a series of smaller terraces filled with plants that are free to grow, also supported by the presence of a spring. Emerging beneath the foundations of the old building, it keeps the soil cool even during the hottest months.
On one side stands a large cypress, the oldest tree in the garden. Other noteworthy trees include Pinus bungeana, Magnolia delavayi, and Michelia yunnanensis. Among the most significant plants are Tetrapanax papyrifera, Daphne odora, Carpenteria californica, Buddleja delavayi, Escallonia illinita, Agave americana, Solanum jasminoides, Zanthoxylum armatum, Paeonia delavayi, Paeonia rockii, Solanum leprosum, Solanum carolinense, and Solanum crispum.
