Here we are at the heart of Piuca\u2019s garden and at the entrance to one of its most biodiverse areas, thanks to its sheltered, bright, and cool location, where the abundance of water is clearly perceptible.\u00a0In this part of the garden, many Himalayan plants from Yunnan and Sichuan have been introduced, collected during botanical expeditions in which the owners had the good fortune to participate. These plants have been cultivated without forcing their adaptation and with full awareness that they would not pose a competitive threat to the native flora.
\nOver more than thirty years of cultivation, these species have proven their ability to adapt to this latitude, thanks to the area\u2019s very specific and localized microclimate. Most of these plants were introduced after being propagated from seed, a key factor in their successful acclimatization.<\/p>\n
